Lost Pool table

I order a pool table on Jan 3rd for my son from Costco . It was shipped from Brunswick Pool table Company ( vender) on the 22nd of Jan and was supposed to be delieveried to WilmingtonNC at US Fitness.

After a week of not hearing from the this company I decided to call Costco and see where the table was. They called the US Fitness said they never received it They keep on telling me they are working on it.. How long does it take to look up a tracking freight Number and track a pool table. I call everyday and for the last two days I have been told they would call me back but haven't heard anything from them!!!!!!!

I promise I will never order andy thing from these two companies.

I'm getting tried of getting the run around. Pro customer service for sure !!!!!!!!

Called Saturday, January 20 to inquire about my order and why it has not shipped. Paul kept on us on the phone for over 15 minutes only to say, "call back on Monday. Our Shipping Department is closed on the weekends." Shouldn't his response been, "So sorry about the experience. Allow me to research it. What is the best form of contact? I or another Customer Service will be contacting you." Horrible service and complete inexperience. I spend tens of thousands of dollars at Costco Annually. Apparently, my business is not welcome or needed. We have the power to change these retailers and receive the appropriate response and resolution in a timely professional manner.

I’ve been an executive member for more than 10 years. I do agree with other reviews that Costco customer service varies depending on its location. In the areas where most of their customers are minorities, you’re treated like in the welfare office (never been in there but can imagine). So, I wouldn’t be surprised that one day Costco will face a lawsuit for being racist. In the other areas with higher income customers, their service is different. They even allow pets but that also depends the color of your skin (I witnessed that). Have said all that, I can’t ignore some good employees. But it’s hit and miss. And when it comes to their policies, the management is worse. To them, it’s the customers who need their business not the other way around. They think it’s the wholesale price so who care about service. They interpret the policy in the way that benefits them. Anyway, why am I still their member? Their price? May be, may be not. To me, it’s more with convenience and the variety of their merchandise. Sometimes, I question myself, is this really worth it?

UPDATE: Costco apparently takes customer service seriously, because the day I wrote this review they contacted the shipper, who called and scheduled a delivery within 2 days. I cannot fault Costco's commitment to their customers. I do like Costco's generous return...

Costco uses Lodeso to deliver to the Louisville area. A joke.

They will let your furniture sit in their warehouse for weeks and they never call. You have to contact their customer service through a different logistics company. They aren’t truthful about when they received your item, saying Lodeso has to “inspect the items for damage” and need 48 hours. I called after 72 hours, but they claimed to have just received the item (not according to my Costco notice) and still needed 48 hours.

They had my sofa from another vendor for weeks. Never called. Put up a notice “attempting to contact customer” (they never tried). Then delivered the sofa and loveseat in unopened boxes.

Really? Needed 48 hours to inspect an unopened box? Then I ordered a mattress set from Costco and to my dismay discovered that Lodeso also delivers for them.

Now I’m going through the same delays as before. I’ll never ever order furniture from Costco.com again as long as they use Lodeso.

Costco Concierge Services is a scam

They just try to wear you down until maybe you give up. My computer monitor is not working correctly.

After 6 calls to them (average calls lasted 40 minutes, the last call lasted more then one hour). I must say the people answering the calls and their managers do not have the qualification to help ( I got a master degree in computer science, so I know). They are very good at giving you run around until you give up. In short Costco Concierge Services is a scam Costco came up with to fool the customers to buy from them.

Please help to spread the facts. I am a Costco customer since 1989, it is sad to see this!!!!

Costco on line is like a third world

I ordered a bed from Costco on line. They misrepresented the delivery date by 10 days..

Their vendor then cancelled the order, but did not refund my money and did not tell us about the cancellation.

Now to get the item they are requiring me to pay double pay for the item and then after it delivers they will think about giving a refund on the first order. Worst yet, the bed is for my mother who is on hospice, Costco has no control over delivery and could careless if and when the bed gets there for my mother who probably won't live long enough to see delivery.

LOVE COSTCO - HATE THEIR CONCIERGE SERVICES

Have a warranty on my computer- 1 year and 6 months in- hard drive starts to click- computer then goes black. After hours and hours on the phone with Costco concierge services and 1 month later- NO SOLUTION They put me on hold to find out answer after answer on how they are supposed to help me. Told me it was a software problem (which by the way, despite having 2 different extended warranties, they would not cover) when the diagnostic testing I RAN BY MYSELF (Because they didn't know how to do ANY of that) confirmed it was a hardware problem. 1 Month Later- STILL NO SOLUTION, AND NO COMPUTER. Called them again today- to be told the wait time was 5-10 minutes, then after waiting 5 minutes, was told that it was over 10 minutes now...huh????? I love Costco but your concierge services SUCK. Never again will I WASTE my money on buying your warranty, because your only goal is NOT TO HONOR IT.

Climate Windows and Doors Brutal

Installed two doors that let the snow, wind and rain IN. Aren’t door supposed to keep it out???

Everyone i have dealt with regarding this situation, Joe, John, Anu, Roy, have not reactified this situation. Never again, Costco did nothing as well, so much for their if your not satisfied you can return it. No TRUE.

I found Costco to be unresponsive in this situation and if fact both companies have now introduced a new policy of form that need to be completed to complain. At this point i am looking into legal action, all as I ask is that doors do not frost up or leak air and the prior condition of my home is the after installation.

Dumbest company system I’ve ever experience

So *** pissed! Purchased washer/dryer from Costco. Get a automated phone call to schedule a day for deliery. Didn’t get it by that time so call to find out my shit’s not coming because they are missing a part?! Wtf! Just got a confirmation call same morning! Not everyone has time to sit their *** at home everyday to wait for a delivery. The least they could have done was to call to let me know that my *** was not coming so I didn’t have to waste a whole day. Costco needs to find a better company to work with cause this place is a piece of ***

Costco Citi Bank Rip Off

I had lots of reward $$ built up in 2017. I didn't end up renewing my card with Citi (didn't like them at all) and come to find out that if my card wasn't renewed, Citi wouldn't pay me my reward money. What does that have to do with the Costco rewards? It's just a way for Citi to rip you off. So all last year, I made it a point to use my Citi card before my other cards so I could build up rewards was for nothing. A big fat zero. I called customer service and was basically told that I was out of luck. They don't issue a check for rewards if my credit card isn't active. Seriously disgusted with Citi.

Injured at Costco by an Manager!

Arvada Costco cover up. I was injured while paying for my groceries in line.

A manager parked a flatbed cart on my foot. I had two surgeries on my foot. All the cashiers saw this happen. The manager yelled at them while I was passing out.

This happened on October 21, 2014. I was yelled at by Zois Johnston the insurance manager. He told me they will delete the surveillance and I would never prove it. I am writing a book about this incident and all the people covering up for this manager.

Stacy, manager, Annalisa, a supervisor, Zois Johnston, Manager of Insurance, Lena the Cashier that told the truth to the police officer and then lied in Deposition. I think that is Perjury! Cameron, manager that told me Lena was threatened by Costco so she lied. I hate LIERS!

Cameron asked me not to use her name. I told her then you call and ask Costco why they are doing this. Costco is greedy and they do not want to take care of people that they hurt. I share my story with everyone.

Lena the cashier told me they were having meeting to cover this up.

I was crawling around the house both time after my surgeries from this store. Sad when people like these care more about their job then calling an ambulance for the injured customer. Sad that they would delete the surveillance and not take care of me the injured customer. Sad that they would have meetings to cover this up which is what Lena and Molly told me.

Sad that Desire from the stores office would yell at me and the police officer. Very sad that Cameron, a manager, from the Quincy store told me that Lena the cashier was threaten to lie or lose her job. She lied in Deposition. I thought you would go to jail for that.

I shake as I sit here and type about the dishonesty of this company and what happened to me on October 21, 2014 at 5:30. Freedom of Speech and speaking out to let people know what Zois Johnston in Claims is doing to the injured at Costco. Zois told me I would never prove this happened.

I asked him how many times he has done this before. I'm not going away Zois!

I truly regret purchasing my tire and paid installations service at Costco Richmond, BC. I come for a tire puncture, and was told to come back tomorrow at 6AM and line up. What a joke, tire puncture means I need help right away. I end up fixing my tire at Kal tire who although similarly busy, gracefully help me change to my spare tire and promise to fix the tire by end of day. I then scheduled a tire rotation through Costco tire appointment system online, come the day, was told there will be 5 hours delay. Another joke. What is the point of appointment if you missed it by 5 hours? I tried any way, and was told I had to leave me key with them and come back some 3.5 hours later. I can't do it, so I book another appointment, only available was two weeks later. Time for my appointment, I clear my schedule and expect the worst. True to Costco tire nature, I did get the worst. No text reminder like previous appointment. Arrived early hoping for better response now. Appointment was 5:15pm, I arrived 4:50pm. Was told it will be ready 7:30 PM. Wow 2.5 hours for a tire rotation, nitrogen, and a tire repair? When I come at 7:30PM, was told work is not finished, come back another hour. This time the employee was not polite at all. He told me that I will get call when it is ready, since I have not been called, he looks annoyed by my presence there to collect my car. I am back again around 8:00pm, I saw my car been worked on. I come back again around 8:30pm. This time the lady said, no car is ready, not keys on the desk. I walk around and saw my car is ready. So I go back to check again with her, this time she goes back and get my key. And no, I never got the call that my car is ready. This is my worst experience of any store, let alone Costco which I usually praised for their customer service. I will not by tire for Costco ever again. For other product, I will think twice now. I believe this is management issue, so this bad experience, I expect to spread to other Costco department as well. Buyer beware!!

Costco "Concierge Services" are inappropriate

The Dell notebook computer my friend bought at Costco stopped charging its battery. We called Costco Concierge Services to take advantage of its 2-year warranty service.

However, after more than 9 hours on the phone over 2 days, Costco technicians were still asking us to update and run software to address a likely hardware problem. Furthermore, one technician and one supervisor neglected to call us back as promised. We finally called Dell directly.

Within 2 minutes, a Dell technician confirmed that the problem is indeed a hardware problem, and arranged for my friend to send her computer to Dell for repair. Though we will pay Dell for their service and parts, we finally decided to stop spending any more valuable time on the phone with Costco Concierge Services to throw software at a hardware problem.

The New Credit Card

We love Costco, we have been a Costco member for many years and we have access to Sams and BJ's so please don't make us have to take our business to them. We are very disappointed with the new credit card. We used to be able to see the individual items purchased and now it just gives a balance... we were able to see all individual purchases through AMEX so why can't we do so with CITI ... we were hold to take the receipt to the local store and they would be able to give us a list ...This is not acceptable.... PLEASE CORRECT as soon as possible.... Thank you Margaret Surette

The Citicards website does have a better printout, but similar to the AMEX one. If this is not acceptable, move on to Sams.
