Costco review: First Come First Served - Not at the Racist Gas Station in Edison, NJ

On June 12th, 2015 4:15pm I happened to be parked in line at the Costoco - Edison, NJ Gas Station. Waited for 15min and then pulled up to the first pump in the line. A second SUV pulled in on the pump behind me. Francisco the pump attendant ignores the "First Come First Served" rule and chooses to pump the SUV because it is driven by a old white woman. When asked Francisco has no answer. Mel, the senior attendant at the pump had no clue what was going on. Craig Blanchard the Gas Station manager was nowhere in sight, apparently he had left several hours ago. It seemed that the gas station attendants chose to ignore the rule and told me I could go complain inside at the store. Service was totally unsatisfactory and poor quality. Gas station attendants should be fired!!

Costco review in Memphis, Tennessee: Rude Employees at Cordova, TN

Their employees are very rude, and stand around and laugh and joke with each other rather than help shoppers. If you ask questions, their response is "I don't know", and walk off. They refuse to help shoppers with heavy items, and will not help with unloading items from the cart. I have been a loyal customer for 12 years, however due to their rudeness, I now watch for sales at Wal-mart, Kroger, Lowes, and Home Depot. Their employees act like they don't want my business, so now they don't have it. Maybe its just the Cordova Location, I used to live in Colorado and the Customer Service there was great.

Costco - Hot Dog Review from Northfield, Kentucky

I went to Louisville Costco concession to get hot dog. My interaction with employee., Taylor, is my complaint. This female did not greet me, did not thank me, come to think of it, didn't speak one word to me. This is not how I view Costco employees...usually they are kind, open, helpful. Taylor, who I've never seen before, has a rotten disposition. I watched as she failed to be warm to any other paying shoppers also! Wake up Costco

Honey, wake up! You aren't on the Costco web site.

This a general complaint site. Employees aren't paid to socialize with customers, they are paid to serve you and that is what Taylor was doing.

Not everybody is the sociable type, and just imagine complaining because Taylor wasn't gushy with the customers buying hot dogs. Honestly GROW UP!!!

Honestly, Honey, you are the one who need to wake up and GROW UP! Perhaps the employees are not paid to socialize with customers, but customers are supposed to be their top priority, AND the employees are there to serve customers.

They are in the public eye, representing their company. Imagine going into a restaurant, having a server come to your table and not saying a thing to you. Would you complain? Sure you would!

If they are not the sociable type, then they should not be servicing the public. There is no need to get, as you say, "gushy" with the customer, but speaking and being friendly is all part of good customer service.

Perhaps she (Taylor) was having a bad day, but you do not take it to work with you. Apparently, this employee (Taylor) in

the Louisville Costco, should not be there.

Costco Delivery 12 hour window and still an hour late

One week in advance ordered a washer and dryer for delivery. Day of delivery never get a call. I had to call in and find out they were not making the 7:00 am to 7:00 pm delivery window. When I purchased the items I was told it would be delivered during business hours. I didn't find out about a 12 hour window until the day of delivery. They Arrived an hour late and did a lousy job with the install. I will never buy appliances there again. To add to it the delivery men smelled like a pair of goats. I am bringing up cocscosucks.com website next week(It engineer here).

I purchased an I-phone 6 from one of the costco stores and I received a car charger and mounting kit as a freebie. Additionally, Costco promised to provide a $25 cash card too. They never mention following: 1. Cash card is provided by a third party. 2. You have to fill a *** form and mail it to this third party. 2. This third party will take 3-4 months after they receive the application, to process your request. The reason i am mad at Costco because, T-mobile was providing me a straight $72 rebate for the same purchase. I weighed both options and chose Costco, considering their standards and reputation. Never expected such goofy business practices after paying $110 as annual membership.

I believe T-Mobile is not endorsed by Costco. They are a concession with space in the Costco store.

Costco does not control T-Mobile. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Costco review in Montreal, Quebec: Lack of profesionalism

Never experience such rudeness in my life! Last Saturday my boyfriend and I went to the Costco located on Bridge, Montreal. When we were ready to pay, the cashier told us that my boyfriend couldn't pay using his MasterCard since the Costco card was under my name, so we agreed to pay using debit instead. However, since we were not aware of such law, we had to return some of the items. There was this young woman helping the cashier putting our items into the cart, I asked her in French if she could put the items into a box for me, she acted as if she didn't understand me so I switched to English. At that time, she had no choice but to go and get me a box but instead of putting the items in a box she gave me the box for me to do it. I told her again to please put the items in the box, and at that moment she looks at me and starts THROWING the food into the box, I got really angry and I asked her for her name and said: "My name is Stephanie Payne if you want to file a complaint the supervisors are right there and walked away". I'm sorry but I do pay to become a member of Costco to receive such treatment. I might not spend thousands of dollars in your company but I do spend a fair share of money and I do not accept anyone to be treated this way. It is sad to see that people behave in such unprofessional ways especially when they are representing your company. I was ready to cancel my membership and tell all my friends about it but then I realized maybe Stephanie had a bad day at work but still there is no excuse for rudeness especially when I was never rude to her. I hope something can be done about it.
