I purchased an I-phone 6 from one of the costco stores and I received a car charger and mounting kit as a freebie. Additionally, Costco promised to provide a $25 cash card too. They never mention following: 1. Cash card is provided by a third party. 2. You have to fill a *** form and mail it to this third party. 2. This third party will take 3-4 months after they receive the application, to process your request. The reason i am mad at Costco because, T-mobile was providing me a straight $72 rebate for the same purchase. I weighed both options and chose Costco, considering their standards and reputation. Never expected such goofy business practices after paying $110 as annual membership.

I believe T-Mobile is not endorsed by Costco. They are a concession with space in the Costco store.

Costco does not control T-Mobile. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Costco in Montreal, Quebec - Lack of profesionalism

Never experience such rudeness in my life! Last Saturday my boyfriend and I went to the Costco located on Bridge, Montreal. When we were ready to pay, the cashier told us that my boyfriend couldn't pay using his MasterCard since the Costco card was under my name, so we agreed to pay using debit instead. However, since we were not aware of such law, we had to return some of the items. There was this young woman helping the cashier putting our items into the cart, I asked her in French if she could put the items into a box for me, she acted as if she didn't understand me so I switched to English. At that time, she had no choice but to go and get me a box but instead of putting the items in a box she gave me the box for me to do it. I told her again to please put the items in the box, and at that moment she looks at me and starts THROWING the food into the box, I got really angry and I asked her for her name and said: "My name is Stephanie Payne if you want to file a complaint the supervisors are right there and walked away". I'm sorry but I do pay to become a member of Costco to receive such treatment. I might not spend thousands of dollars in your company but I do spend a fair share of money and I do not accept anyone to be treated this way. It is sad to see that people behave in such unprofessional ways especially when they are representing your company. I was ready to cancel my membership and tell all my friends about it but then I realized maybe Stephanie had a bad day at work but still there is no excuse for rudeness especially when I was never rude to her. I hope something can be done about it.

Costco in Tempe, Arizona - Free follow up eye exam turns out not to be free

Had an eye exam about a month ago. Today I went back for a recommended (free of charge) follow up visit. I filled out their paperwork which clearly states there would be no charge for the followup visit and exam. The doctor examined me then put me in another room. After waiting 15 minutes the technician came advised me there would be a $30 charge to take a picture of my eye. I was clearly annoyed and argued that everything up until her announcement said this was a free of charge followup visit. She refused to continue unless I agreed to pay the $30. I left frustrated and with an incomplete exam. This policy should be changed so the customer knows ahead of time what if any charges apply. A complete wasted morning for me. I will never go back to Costco for an eye exam.

The Optometrists at Costco are not employed by Costco, they're separate doctors who rent the space. Your issue is with the doctor you saw, not with Costco.

It sounds to me like you got a free exam. A picture of your eye is not a standard part of any eye exam that I have ever had.

This is an EXTRA normally a charge applies with extras so stop being cheap and pay the $30. :)

Thanks for the heads-up. However, don't malign Keta salmon because of the bad stuff you got at Costco.

Wild-caught Alaskan Keta is the least polluted of the Salmon species because it is the smallest and thus, low on the food chain. It is true that it's flavor is milder than it's larger cousins but it is especially good when marinated with a little olive oil and other favorings for a half hour before cooking.

Costco online costco.ca is deceiving and untrustworthy

if you write a review or email customer service there will be no acknowledgement or content confirmation. they did not publish a review where I stated the facts with 1 star rating a few weeks ago. It was never posted. You cannot trust their on line review. They only post what you would like to hear. Cannot trust them. If you write to customer service, you will have no proof. They only reply if they feel like. Their customer service is a joke. I registered Aeoroplan miles on their website but never received a single credit for any purchase. When you register Aeroplan mile their is no confirmation email so you will have no proof of confirmation. Everytime I call them they say "probably you are not registered."

I just got off the phone with Costco.ca customer support. They simply said I was not registered when I purchased my laptop from costco.ca, which is a lie.

I did register when I got the email about the 4x promo.

As OP mentioned they don't have, maybe intentionally, any mechanism to confirm registration.

That leaves their hands open to avoid big promo mile transaction, which is my case, was around 10000 miles.

I don't trust them either. A system designed for costco to be abused whenever they want.

Clock is shot.

Checked other batteries and found 6 out of 10 leaked. All 2017 date.

Costco - Laptop Review from Los Angeles, California

Laptop was overheating and shutting off. I dealt with it in that manner for several months until my screen broke recently. They will not take it back and are forcing me to use the warranty. I paid 100 for warranty and was specifically told I can return/swap out laptop for 3 years. They give you (90) days which is pointless: thr najority of electronic products fail after 4 months not 3. If I would have bought at bestbuy I would have my laptop fixed. Now I need to file a claim with Squaretrade snd send them my laptop, which I use for my law office. I know the law and they are liable msnufacturing defects. Now that the screen is cracked on top of the other issue they are screwing me

It is a fact that Costco has only a 90 day return policy on electronics. You have a manufacturers warranty on the product for a reason.

Use it! However, the return policy on other goods sold at Costco is a good one, one that can be used for the lifetime of the product. They will, most times, take something back without hesitation or question. It is just like any other store in some respects.

Ever try to return electronics to WalMart or Target? If you do not have a receipt you cannot do it, and you can only do it within a certain time frame.

So you know the law, do you know how to spell? In regards to Square Trade they will replace your laptop if it is unrepairable.

Best Buy would not have returned the product for you I believe the return policy is 15 days.

90 days is an extremely long time to allow returns on electronics when you look at other return policies.

TODAY WENT TO COSTCO BY HOS-STATER SAN JOSE. WAITED ALMOST 10 MIN FOR PARKING. WHEN VEHICLE MOVED COSTCO EMPLOYEE SHOWN UP WITH CART AND SAID THIS IS NOT AVAILABLE. HE TURNED UP SIDE DOWN SHOPPING CART AND START FIGHTING. THEN CALLED COP ON DUTY THAT I WAS FIGHTING. WHOLE CREW AND MANAGERS CAME IN START HARASSING INCLUDING COP. THAT I COULD BE ARRESTED. NEXT TO ME CART SPACE WAS TOTALLY EMPTY AND EMPLOYEE STATED HE NEED THAT PARKING SPACE TO LEAVE CARTS THEIR INSTEAD OF DESIGNATED SPACE. I TOOK OFF AND NEXT STEP GOING TO CALL CO OPERATE OFFICE AND CANCEL 13 YEARS OLD MEMBERSHIP.

Stores generally only have a 15-30 day return/exchange policy for electronics. Why would you think they could do something after six years?

That would be a manufacturers issue. Or you could find a repair shop yourself, but after six years you really can't expect the store to do anything for toy.
