Weekly fill-up at 4th Ave. Costco.
Gas prices may not be what they seem. Last week and then again this week checked my gas receipt that showed I received 17/18 gallons of gas. My vehicle has a 12 gallon gas tank and if I overfill will take maximum of 12.5 gallons of gas. Yet, my receipts these past two weeks shows that I purchased 17/18 gallons of gas.
Something is wrong with this scenario? Tried reaching supervisor today at this Costco to ask about the above noted deviance but each time, once I explained my dilemma was transferred and then disconnected (called 3 times).
This gal is a long time lover of Costco but something just is not right with this 4th Ave. Costco gas pumps?

I am VERY DISGUSTED with the removal of products I always purchase
I have Purchased Cedarlane Organic Chopped Vegetable & Barley Soup since the day it was first introduced a long time ago. Since I have purchased it EVERY WEEK have a bit every night with dinner and love it so much.
NOW yesterday and the week before it was not in the marketing area so I checked with your staff and was told it will no longer be available. You have taken other products away including Mariani Sliced Almonds I used for MANY YEARS and now purchase it on the internet as well as other products.

Subject: Broken HP Laptop submitted for repair on approx Aug 20/
To whom it may concern........
As a loyal and dedicated Costco customer and Executive Member since 2007, it is with a certain level of disappointment that I am writing this letter.
Approx. 1 year ago I purchased an HP laptop from the Costco warehouse in Langford, British Columbia for approx. $800 CAD including tax and initially I was happy with my purchase. The laptop was kept on a solid table. The computer was kept in a smoke free, pet free house and was operated with extreme care and caution.
Approx. 1 week ago, when I attempted to open this previously well cared for item, I was both shocked and upset to see that the hinge component on the lower right hand side of the monitor had broken loose and the plasticcovering of the hinge had begun to break away. I was unsure of what to do in this case so I left the laptop lid in the open position so as not to further aggravate the situation which I was still attempting to understand the root cause.
It was with further disappointment that upon calling the Costco concierge to express my concern with this apparent defective item that an insinuation was being made that the damage was caused by ‘human error’ when in actual fact the only human interaction with the item in question was that as the item is designed to operate and no other. In search of further information and answers via online resources revealed that this is apparently a common issue with HP laptops in that the materials used are of an apparent low quality and as such they are not built to last which only adds to the frustration and disappointment given the initial financial outlay experienced for what is appearing to be a flawed and sub-par product.
I was instructed by the Costco concierge to package the item and forward it to an address in Whitby, Ontario which I did and the item was packaged appropriately so as to avoid further damage. In viewing the photos included ...when I shipped the laptop the hinge was behind the monitor and not exposed as indicated in the photos......Approx. 10 days after having sent the item in for a supposed repair I was completely shocked and outraged to have received my item in worse condition than when I sent it for what I expected to be a repair and/or replacement. The item was returned to me with the aforementioned broken hinge now on the front of the computer screen and a large, previously not present crack on the monitor. I do know that when I sent the item it was not in this condition and I can only surmise that this occurred whilst it was in the custody of your company or representatives of the same when packaged to return to me unrepaired.
I have made my displeasure known after having been made to wait on the telephone for several hours only to be transferred to a call centre somewhere outside of North America, in order to speak to someone who had absolutely no clue what the issue was and then to be told that the repair for the otherwise faulty hinge would cost me in excess of $250.00!
Suffice it to say I am beyond consolable with respect to the way this matter has been handled by Costco and the complete disregard shown to a presumed loyal customer. I would have expected Costco to stand by the products they sell to their ‘members’ and not to give them the runaround once the transaction has been completed, especially when a significant financial commitment has been made for a product being supplied by a supposed reputable manufacturer.
Due to the complete negligence and lack of customer care shown by Costco in this matter I would expect nothing less than a complete and full replacement of the defective and now damaged item as this damage occurred whilst the item was in the care and custody of Costco and/or its representatives despite it being packaged properly for repair.
A timely response to this important issue is expected and once resolved there is a likelihood that my personal business at your establishment and that of my friends, family and others will be seriously reconsidered!

LT WAS RETURNED TWICE FROM HP SUPPORT WITHOUT RESOLVING ISSUE. HOWEVER I DECIDED TO RUN A DEFRAG ON MY HARD DRIVE AND FOR A BRAND NEW UNIT FOUND MANY SPOTS FOUND ON THE HARD DRIVE THAT WERE RE-ALLOCATED BY THE DEFRAG DUE TO MANUFACTURING DEFECTS. MAYBE THIS WAS THE...

UNIT WORKED FINE UNTIL FIRST WEEK IN MARCH 2017. LAPTOP FROZE NOTHING MOVED NEEDED TO DO A HARD SHUT DOWN. TURNED IN ON AND WORKED FOR A SHORT WHILE AND GOT SAME PROBLEM. THIS PROBLEM IS INTERMITENT.
CONTACTED COSTO TECH SUPPORT FOR A RESOLUTION. PER INSTRUCTIONS LAPTOP WAS SHIP TO A HP REPAIR LOCATION IN THE MIDWEST FREE OF CHARGE. THE TECHNICIAN RETURNED UNIT SAYING THAT ISSUE WAS FOUND AND FIXED. .
ISSUE CONTINUE. PER HP RESTORED OS TAKING ME HOURS TO DO IT. UNIT WORKED FINE FOR FEW DAYS AND ON 4/4/17 ISSUE RESURFACED AGAIN.
PHONED COSTCO CONCIERGE SERVICES tag# 427523 AND FEEL I'M TALKING TO A WALL. THEY WANT ME TO CONNECT WITH HP AGAIN

Costco - Rewards Certificate Review
Costco is getting old. First major complaint: You spend allot of money all year to receive te rewards money at the end.
But it has to many exceptions to using its ***, ***, and frankly make Costco a bunch of *** The exception that has megited up is that you can't use it online at Costco.com. So ***.
And Im so mad, that I'm adding them to my boycott along with Starbucks, McDonald's in Hostess. I would rather spend extra money and go to other places like Smsrt and Final, Walmart, etc.

Costco - Car Part Replacement Review
Was there today to get new tires on my car. Was told it would take one and a half hours I was ok with that.
My appointment was for 12:00 so came back at 1:30 and car hadn't been touched. Went and sat down and waited and waited. Was never asked once what car we were waiting for. At almost 3:00pm they asked if anyone owned a Toyota and I said no but was waiting for my Dodge Journey and that my appointment was for 12:00.
He then went to check and came back with my keys and never even said sorry for the wait or anything at all.
The tires and price were great but an almost three and a half hour wait was just too much. I'll never buy tires there again.

The membership goes up $5 every 5 years or so. It's not a huge increase considering you get an additional membership free and the discounted gas and food.
What is so difficult to understand. Your membrship was not renewed, so it is expired.
"Pay next time" Why is that Costco's fault. If you renew you can shop there, if not, you can't.
Go to Sam's, you are obviously more of a Sam's (Walmart) customer.
No loss to costco.
No defending Costco here, I've had my issues too. They do accept Visa, that's exactly what they did, went fro Amex to Visa and I think that was a good move.
