I had ordered a pizza at 210pm over the phone. I got to costco at 240pm and i was told my pizza still had 4 min to cook. I saw a employee put my pizza in the oven as i stood at the side to wait. I finally got my pizza at 250pm. I dont mind waiting i know costco is busy. It would have just been nice for the employee to see its busy and just say it will take 30 min not 15 min

Membership fee has gone up 3 times,they quit taking american express and visa, then my card expired and I asked if I could pay it next time and "no".To many bad changes ,Sam's club it is !!!!

Was short of cash and cashier told me card expired and it would be $60 ( raised again) I wanted to pay next time and he said we can't keep doing that (mind you I have never asked that before )..unhappy with Costco only excepting mastercard and not visa and American express .I have had a couple issues with the wholesale store but this took the cake and I will not be joining back up.Very disappointed in all the changes.My daughter ,sister and neighbor recently joined Sam's and so far as a guest I had no problems using my cards there ( a guest mind you ) which again Costco doesn't do

The membership goes up $5 every 5 years or so. It's not a huge increase considering you get an additional membership free and the discounted gas and food.

What is so difficult to understand. Your membrship was not renewed, so it is expired.

"Pay next time" Why is that Costco's fault. If you renew you can shop there, if not, you can't.

Go to Sam's, you are obviously more of a Sam's (Walmart) customer.

No loss to costco.

No defending Costco here, I've had my issues too. They do accept Visa, that's exactly what they did, went fro Amex to Visa and I think that was a good move.

Budget rental car

Rented a car with Budget 2 weeks ago. When I got to L.A. there was a 2 hour!!!! wait just to talk to the agent to get my car. The following week when I returned it the same thing was going, on a huge crowd in front of the office waiting to get service. Many of those waiting had signed up through Costco. Nothing else to say. Just consider all the people that already have their card out in their hand when they entered. You would not have been asked if you had yours out.

Why pull the race card and just do what you are supposed to do to enter a Costco.

and don't get pissy when they ask to see membership.

Are U Really getting what you pay 4-Costco gas

Weekly fill-up at 4th Ave. Costco.

Gas prices may not be what they seem. Last week and then again this week checked my gas receipt that showed I received 17/18 gallons of gas. My vehicle has a 12 gallon gas tank and if I overfill will take maximum of 12.5 gallons of gas. Yet, my receipts these past two weeks shows that I purchased 17/18 gallons of gas.

Something is wrong with this scenario? Tried reaching supervisor today at this Costco to ask about the above noted deviance but each time, once I explained my dilemma was transferred and then disconnected (called 3 times).

This gal is a long time lover of Costco but something just is not right with this 4th Ave. Costco gas pumps?

Go to your state's main website and find the state agency that regulates gas stations, etc.---probably called something like "weights and measurements" or similar. They perform spot checks on gas stations all the time.

I had to do this a few years ago in my state. They did an unannounced check on a station I suspected of shorting customers and they did, indeed find that their pumps were calibrated incorrectly---in the station's favor, of course.

Costco - Delivery Service Review

I recently purchased a washer and dryer from the online Costco store. Once the delivery men had installed it and left, I noticed an enormous scratch on the side of the dryer. The dryer is gray, so the scratch is very noticeable. Their way of speaking was also very unprofessional and the entire thing was just ridiculous. I spent $2000 just to have a scratched up dryer.

We just had a bad experience with a dishwasher delivery from costco.

We had to disconnect and pull out the old one (I'm in my 70s).

Now we have to hire an electrician to connect the new one. Any savings have been wiped out by the extra effort and costs.

I have Purchased Cedarlane Organic Chopped Vegetable & Barley Soup since the day it was first introduced a long time ago. Since I have purchased it EVERY WEEK have a bit every night with dinner and love it so much.

NOW yesterday and the week before it was not in the marketing area so I checked with your staff and was told it will no longer be available. You have taken other products away including Mariani Sliced Almonds I used for MANY YEARS and now purchase it on the internet as well as other products.

After MANY YEARS, you should be smart enough to know that there are many variables that determine items carried by various stores. Often it is not the fault of the store. Try shopping elsewhere.

Subject: Broken HP Laptop submitted for repair on approx Aug 20/

To whom it may concern........

As a loyal and dedicated Costco customer and Executive Member since 2007, it is with a certain level of disappointment that I am writing this letter.

Approx. 1 year ago I purchased an HP laptop from the Costco warehouse in Langford, British Columbia for approx. $800 CAD including tax and initially I was happy with my purchase. The laptop was kept on a solid table. The computer was kept in a smoke free, pet free house and was operated with extreme care and caution.

Approx. 1 week ago, when I attempted to open this previously well cared for item, I was both shocked and upset to see that the hinge component on the lower right hand side of the monitor had broken loose and the plasticcovering of the hinge had begun to break away. I was unsure of what to do in this case so I left the laptop lid in the open position so as not to further aggravate the situation which I was still attempting to understand the root cause.

It was with further disappointment that upon calling the Costco concierge to express my concern with this apparent defective item that an insinuation was being made that the damage was caused by ‘human error’ when in actual fact the only human interaction with the item in question was that as the item is designed to operate and no other. In search of further information and answers via online resources revealed that this is apparently a common issue with HP laptops in that the materials used are of an apparent low quality and as such they are not built to last which only adds to the frustration and disappointment given the initial financial outlay experienced for what is appearing to be a flawed and sub-par product.

I was instructed by the Costco concierge to package the item and forward it to an address in Whitby, Ontario which I did and the item was packaged appropriately so as to avoid further damage. In viewing the photos included ...when I shipped the laptop the hinge was behind the monitor and not exposed as indicated in the photos......Approx. 10 days after having sent the item in for a supposed repair I was completely shocked and outraged to have received my item in worse condition than when I sent it for what I expected to be a repair and/or replacement. The item was returned to me with the aforementioned broken hinge now on the front of the computer screen and a large, previously not present crack on the monitor. I do know that when I sent the item it was not in this condition and I can only surmise that this occurred whilst it was in the custody of your company or representatives of the same when packaged to return to me unrepaired.

I have made my displeasure known after having been made to wait on the telephone for several hours only to be transferred to a call centre somewhere outside of North America, in order to speak to someone who had absolutely no clue what the issue was and then to be told that the repair for the otherwise faulty hinge would cost me in excess of $250.00!

Suffice it to say I am beyond consolable with respect to the way this matter has been handled by Costco and the complete disregard shown to a presumed loyal customer. I would have expected Costco to stand by the products they sell to their ‘members’ and not to give them the runaround once the transaction has been completed, especially when a significant financial commitment has been made for a product being supplied by a supposed reputable manufacturer.

Due to the complete negligence and lack of customer care shown by Costco in this matter I would expect nothing less than a complete and full replacement of the defective and now damaged item as this damage occurred whilst the item was in the care and custody of Costco and/or its representatives despite it being packaged properly for repair.

A timely response to this important issue is expected and once resolved there is a likelihood that my personal business at your establishment and that of my friends, family and others will be seriously reconsidered!

LT WAS RETURNED TWICE FROM HP SUPPORT WITHOUT RESOLVING ISSUE. HOWEVER I DECIDED TO RUN A DEFRAG ON MY HARD DRIVE AND FOR A BRAND NEW UNIT FOUND MANY SPOTS FOUND ON THE HARD DRIVE THAT WERE RE-ALLOCATED BY THE DEFRAG DUE TO MANUFACTURING DEFECTS. MAYBE THIS WAS THE...

COMPUTER ARRIVED FROM CHINA FACTORY ON 12/6/2016. I DID LOAD ALL OF MY APPS.

UNIT WORKED FINE UNTIL FIRST WEEK IN MARCH 2017. LAPTOP FROZE NOTHING MOVED NEEDED TO DO A HARD SHUT DOWN. TURNED IN ON AND WORKED FOR A SHORT WHILE AND GOT SAME PROBLEM. THIS PROBLEM IS INTERMITENT.

CONTACTED COSTO TECH SUPPORT FOR A RESOLUTION. PER INSTRUCTIONS LAPTOP WAS SHIP TO A HP REPAIR LOCATION IN THE MIDWEST FREE OF CHARGE. THE TECHNICIAN RETURNED UNIT SAYING THAT ISSUE WAS FOUND AND FIXED. .

ISSUE CONTINUE. PER HP RESTORED OS TAKING ME HOURS TO DO IT. UNIT WORKED FINE FOR FEW DAYS AND ON 4/4/17 ISSUE RESURFACED AGAIN.

PHONED COSTCO CONCIERGE SERVICES tag# 427523 AND FEEL I'M TALKING TO A WALL. THEY WANT ME TO CONNECT WITH HP AGAIN

Technical support for my home cameras. Three representatives that must have just walked in off the street and picked up the phone. The first one kept telling me to plug and unplug and hemming and hawing , couldn't give me any information that was useful, the second one hung up in my face and the third one put me on hold for the longest time. I believe they were all near each other and didn't want to be bothered with me. I finally spoke to a q-see technical support guy named Mike and he took 10 minutes if that long to fix my cameras and I was waiting for him for a few days. Costco concierge representatives that I encounterd were as dumb as a box of rocks....no the rocks are smarter. I had to call the company technical support where I purchased the cameras. Avoid Costco concierge. Most worthless three at the company.

Do not buy fish nor sea good from costco! Witnessed live worms dancing out of the fish under it's plastic wrap with a price sticker of $ 26+.

At the Kirkland Warehouse a young boy named Max was trying to push some executive membership or whatever. It is rude to be trying to bother customers at the cash register while the customer is paying attention to the cashier and the transaction. He was reading some info off of a small slip of paper and called me by name. Then he wanted to sell some thing or some idea. I have no desire or need for any additional services, coupons, rebates, etc (nothing) and I politely and softly told him I didn't need anything. He asked me if I knew what the executive thing is. I told him again that I wasn't interested. He then started harping on it in an argumentative way and demanding that I answer his question. I firmly told him that I'm not answering his question and he snarled, "Way to be nice about it!" and walked off. Of course throughout the encounter, I was nice about it by softly telling him I wasn't interested. He somehow thought customers have to answer his questions and that he has a right or a COSTCO job to be persistent. His lack of acceptance of my initial declining of his sales pitch seemed to be too personal to him. Please train Max or move him to a different position away from members. Again, the Kirkland Warehouse should be represented as the model store of good customer respect. When Max has been talked with by your mgmt, please let me know and I'll bump up the rating. Thanks!

well if he asked you, you actually should join it. they only ask people who would benefit from the program.

when i worked at costco i had to deal with so many people like yourself. You don't realize we have a quota to make and we get write ups for not meeting them.

also if you upgrade you cant lose money even if you get a check for less than what you paid to upgrade they refund the difference to you. You are over paying for your membership but i guess it is ok because you would rather pay for a membership then get a free one

You will encounter (or not since you no longer work there) many, many members who are very happy without the executive membership. Why can't Costco just accept that without forcing their employees to meet a quota? Aren't you glad you now work somewhere else?

Costco is getting old. First major complaint: You spend allot of money all year to receive te rewards money at the end.

But it has to many exceptions to using its ***, ***, and frankly make Costco a bunch of *** The exception that has megited up is that you can't use it online at Costco.com. So ***.

And Im so mad, that I'm adding them to my boycott along with Starbucks, McDonald's in Hostess. I would rather spend extra money and go to other places like Smsrt and Final, Walmart, etc.

I was so frustrated that I didn't recheck. I use to check everything in my younger days. But I haven't shopped at Costco since and saves me over an hour each time. And we actually love smart and final.

Plus I'm saving lot of time having to wait for a wheel chair since mine doesn't fit in a car that I'm being taken in and finding someone to take me. Plus I was buying things I really didn't need.

I know for a fact that Costco isn't always cheroer then other stores. And have found other nearby stores with cheaper prices for items I really really need.

Oh really? At the end of the year I received my $628.76 rewards.

If you just buy groceries your fine. Read the back of it where all the exceptions exist. By the way there are lots of items that aren't in the stores, but Costco does sell online at their website. However, you can't use your rewards money online, only in the stores.

It's a good thing that I didn't buy as much within the year or I would have more money that would be required to spend only in the store for basic things. How much was your reward certificate for? $100.00 or $200.00 max? Plus, I can buy things much closer then driving 40 minutes to get to the nearest Costco.

Ps: You appear to be a very rude person that we would t even want to associate with.

You snob. Msybe you need to go to an ethics class or a class that teaches manners.

Delivery window....NOT!!! DELIVERY DAY!!

Ordered Product (Osaki message chair) via COSTCO (ready to cancel membership) and had to schedule a delivery with CEVA. My window was 9am to 1pm. I called at 11:45am because I noticed that my tracking still did NOT say "out for delivery" online. After waiting 20 minutes to talk to someone (Jacky), she says "Oh yes..you are scheduled for 9-1 and your item is out for delivery." NOW the website reflects "out for delivery" at 10:43. Keep in mind I checked every 15-30 minutes since 9:30am. And at 11:40 there was no update....... Here it is 3:35pm, and I have not heard from the company. On the phone with COSTCO now, and she tells me I've been rescheduled for a 1pm-5pm delivery. (I took off of work for this ISH!!) Start the RETURN process NOW! If I ever see another delivery by CEVA---I will cancel my order immediately.

About two weeks ago I had to renew my membership, so I did at the check out. I want to pay for the standard card but because I already had the prime membership I had to pay the full amount. I was told by the lady at the checkout that all I had to do was go over to customer service and they would refund me. Stood in line for about 20 minutes to be informed that I would have to return another day to be refunded. I told them that the lady at checkout told me I would get refunded right away. They then told me that the people at the checkout dont have a clue and that the lady who dealt with me was new. Now I have been a member for about 14 years. She has been there for over 2 years. What a lie. I asked for a full refund instead and guess what THEY GAVE IT TO ME. I HAD TO CANCEL MY FULL MEMBER SHIP BUT THEY COULD NOT REFUND ME TO DOWN SIZE MY CARD. PLEASE EXPLAIN. WAIT DONT BOTHER WHAT A HEADACHE I AM NOW A FULL MEMBER OF BJS AND I AM JUST SO ANNOYED . PLEASE ANSWER MY QUESTION.

i work at costco and trust me the cashiers think they know but they DON'T. You get your renewal two months before your membership is due, so that gave you two months to downgrade to the basic level.

also what time did you do this at?

what they haveto do is take you to a different register and refund the renewal that the cashier charged you and then bring you to membership to do the down grade and renewal there. you probably had attitude and that is why they told you to come back another day.

Costco - Car Part Replacement Review

Was there today to get new tires on my car. Was told it would take one and a half hours I was ok with that.

My appointment was for 12:00 so came back at 1:30 and car hadn't been touched. Went and sat down and waited and waited. Was never asked once what car we were waiting for. At almost 3:00pm they asked if anyone owned a Toyota and I said no but was waiting for my Dodge Journey and that my appointment was for 12:00.

He then went to check and came back with my keys and never even said sorry for the wait or anything at all.

The tires and price were great but an almost three and a half hour wait was just too much. I'll never buy tires there again.
