Costco review in Neptune Township, New Jersey: Tire Center Huge Disappointment

I had four new tires installed at Costco. When they installed the tires one of the nuts got stuck on the stud. Anthony, the manager at the Neptune Branch asked me to bring it to ford to fix and insured me that Costco will pay for the repair. Ford was not able to just cut out the stud. They had to replace rotors and match the other side. Repair was about 2100$. A supervisor informed me that they will only cover a little over 400$ of my bill. They sent me a check. Costco does not even return my calls. I will never use the tire center again. They are too much in a rush and do terrible work. I have all documents and auto parts to prove my misfortune

it sounds like the Ford dealership took advantage of the situation and took your money. Even if they had to remove your rotors, with the whole assembly off you can get your wheel off.

Details
Ordered a xmas present online it was in stock. Had to call to follow up on my order myself 2 weeks later. To be told sorry out of stock. Never received a email or call. Then was told to bad . I asked for a supervisor to be told why? they are only going to apologize also !! What ! They messed up my order then treated me like *** over a child's xmas present .

Costco - Membership Review from Brant, Ontario

I have the same membership issue today. Try to switch from executive membership to regular gold card membership. I don't think it is worthed to join the executive membership because we do not go to costco alot. I joined the executive only because the membership customer service really push me to pay the executive because of the rebate. so I switched it today to regular. The lady at costco ancaster was really rude to me and my husband. Keep shaking her head as she processed the switch. I always thought costco has the best customer service because they got paid weĺl. I guess it's not right...I will cancel my membership soon. Not satisfied. Most of their stuff are overpriced anyway.

Costco review in Los Angeles, California: 90 day policy

The reason Costco changed their return policy to 90 days, the manufacturers used to give Costco full credit when they returned a tv to them,but the manufacturers all changed that. Now when costco takes back your tv,the manufactures do not want them back and will not give Costco credit. Costco now gets to sell it to a salvage company for 30 cents on the dollar. Before the policy change. Every year 2 weeks before Super Bowl the Costco I worked at would get no less than 30 Tvs back. People were getting their full refund back and buying a bigger tv,(for less then they paid for the old one)only to do it again next year.

Primus issues?? If you joined through Costco - make Costco aware you are not happy!

Costco needs to support its members and take responsibility for partnering with this poorly run company - email/phone Costco customer service and let them know your situation No Costco member should have to pay the early cancellation fee if the service provided by Primus was not 'as advertised/described' by the sales rep at the Costco warehouse or online There are many unhappy customers - search 'costco primus' If you have contacted Costco please post and let others know their response to your complaint. Also share contact info for rep you are dealing with - good or bad Strength in numbers

Costco review in Miami Beach, Florida: Horrible on line delivery and return experience

I ordered a TV on line from Costco. The TV was delivered in the original box by UPS with no additional box to prevent damage. The box was damaged in shipping and upon opening the TV was also damaged. I called customer service and they said that is the way the merchandise is shipped from the vendor in order to save additional cost in shipping. when I buy merchandise from Amazon the put it in an additional box to prevent any problems. I called Costco and asked them to schedule a pick up. They told me that UPS would be there is 3-5 days. 5 days later I called Costco customer service. They said that the vendor had not given them approval and therefore, the merchandise had not been scheduled for pick up by UPS. I asked them when they thought they would get vendor approval and the answer was-"We do not know". I asked them to contact my by email to notify me of the pick up date and they said they do not send emails. So here I sit with a TV to be returned waiting for UPS to someday arrive. Needless to say that I will never buy anything on line from Costco again.

Costco's shrinking product sizes

Hi all. We have been regular Costco shoppers for years and are getting more and more annoyed at the pervasive "shrinking product" issue. We first noticed this with one of our favorites - the plastic jar of mixed nuts. One day about two years ago, we noticed that the container was significantly smaller although the price was the same. We shrugged this off as just another example of a profit-driven company. In the months that followed, however, we started noticing this with most of the products we bought. That is, it is very apparent that there is a very organized, systematic methodology to shrink portion sizes regularly every "x" months. This is pervasive throughout Costco's products, although with many it is difficult to notice as packaging stays the same size. Now I'm certainly aware that this issue is much bigger than Costco and we *do* see it everywhere in society these days, however, Costco and its Kirkland brand have really made this into an art form...

Was shopping with kids and wittenced a woman in her late 30 hug her husband who worked there, talk a few min. After leaving her husband ran into her by the pharmacy and watched her fill her purse full of stuff and walk out. What shocked me the most was she had her daughters with her.

Costco - Manager Review from Frisco, Texas

Got a phone from west Plano location today. The sales man who sold me the phone apparently was inexperienced and very slow to activate the phone. There was a sales manager at the kiosk too but she didn't seem to care to help out sped up the process. There was no other customer there at the time. she walked away from the kiosk until he texted her for help. She had a very unpleasant face all the time too. I saw no service spirit in her.
