Costco - Delivery Service Review from Montreal, Quebec

I called Costco to find out which location carries Davis curio cabinet in Toronto. Turned out only 4 of them were left in stock in St. Catharines store and it's not sold online. I wanted to get it on the same day, Saturday, however due to a previsious appointment and road closures in Toronto wasn't able to make it by 6pm. My request to put it on hold until next Saturday was rejected even though I offered to make a deposit. There's no delivery either and they don't ship to other costco stores. It's not even bad service, it's no service at all. Now that all businesses including costco claim customer service focus it would help if they add at least a little of it.

From my knowledge they have no holding area and they won't put items on hold for 1 hour, let alone a whole week.

I am Alberto Gomez-Rivas Costco customer number 111775377607, member for many years, using services at optical, hearing aids and auto tire deparments and always receiving courteous and honest service. On 01/06/11 I purchased 4 MICHELIN PRIMACY MX4 MICHPERFORMANCE H/V 205/55R 16 91H RRBL at the Costco store in Bunker Hill, Houston, Texas. On 8/26/14 I took my Mercedes C230 Sport for the required tire rotation and balance. On 8/10/14 I had a small scratch on my front pasanger wheel. On 10/04/14 I was washing the car and to my surprise I found the scratched wheel in the same front pasanger position indicating that the tires were not rotated. I went to the Costco store and Mr. Nike Nhenan, who also attended me on 8/26/14 say that it was a mistake and apologized, he initiated all the paper work and took my car to the shop to fix the problem and ask me to go to the office to sign the paper work. When I got to the office Chris Cano started asking me all sorts of questions as if I have not spoken with Mr. Nhenan and explain to me that he was the MANAGER quite upset and asking question like the brand and size of my tires, information that he had in front of him in the Costco computer. He kept saying that he needed the information because he was the MANAGER. Two hours latter he handled me my keys and a folded paper without asking for my signature or explaining the required visit after 25 miles. Now my tires are balanced, the wheel with the small scratch is in the back driver side indicating that the job was not performed on 8/26/14. He did not apologized for the inconvenience. After that I complained to the main front desk and to a store manager that apologized saying that the behavior of Chris Cano was not the Costco way. I agree. in the future purchase all your tires from an independent local tire shop in which the OWNER is present and active in daily operations. problem solved. next !

Costco review in Milpitas, California: Poor quality merchandise

Details
Everything is made to Costco specifications. Overall quality of merchandise is drastically reduced. Lots of CHEAP China Made junk. Selling Polyester clothing instead of the Cotton clothing of the past. Jackets are poorly designed. The front pockets in the pants and shorts made for Costco have no depth and it is easy to loose your keys when you sit; i.e. Union Bay and Costco's Jeans. The Bath Towels are of inferior manufacture quality as the loops will unravel; standard towels don't do that. Store's customer service complaints go unanswered and are NOT posted in the store for the all customers to see. Price Club was a much-much better deal.

Woe, same thing just happened here! Purchased earrings for 1999 plus tax, when i got the paper, it says 1899.

looks like costco rise price on no basis and forgot to change their paper work. I immediately returned the earrings too!

Costco Online Order - Customers Beware!!

I ordered a baby car seat on Costco online order site. No tracking info provided with emailed order receipt. So after a week I go to my account and check for Order Status and it says "Shipping Cancelled" Ni reason supplied. I call Customer Service and she tells me it has to ship to a residence - no post office or mailbox company. I asked why I didn't get an email saying this. Sorry! she says. Then I ask why then they have a charge against my Mastercard if the order was never processed? She says Oh that will be reversed in a month. I said What? You tie up my Credit card for 30 days for an item that never actually got purchased. She says Yes, that's the policy. So online buyers...beware!

Costco review in Gig Harbor, Washington: Rude Workers and Walkie Talkies Blasting

I've been a long time customer of Costco, but I'm really getting tired of all of the rude and unhelpful employees at the Gig Harbor WA Costco, acting like they're doing me a favor to allow me to shop there. If you do the math and your a savvy shopper you can do as good or in a lot of cases better elsewhere especially when you factor the $55 just to get in the door. And at most grocery stores I shop the employees are extremely nice and helpful. I'm especially tired of standing in long lines at the door while a rude employee acts like I'm steeling something while they examine my basket and receipt, I've never had to do that at Safeway. But my biggest pet peeve is the employees radios they wear on full blast! It's especially fun when they're all standing around in a group not helping customers and 5 radios are blasting at the same time. There is no reason for this, trust me not one customer in the store wants to hear this annoying sound! Costco can afford to buy headphones for each of these radios... Its rude and extremely detracting. I'm seriously contemplating returning my membership after many years and tens of thousands of dollars!
