Have not shopped at Canada Costco for eye wear. USA stores have an awesome optical department, much cheaper AND better than regular opticians.

I truly regret purchasing my tire and paid installations service at Costco Richmond, BC. I come for a tire puncture, and was told to come back tomorrow at 6AM and line up. What a joke, tire puncture means I need help right away. I end up fixing my tire at Kal tire who although similarly busy, gracefully help me change to my spare tire and promise to fix the tire by end of day. I then scheduled a tire rotation through Costco tire appointment system online, come the day, was told there will be 5 hours delay. Another joke. What is the point of appointment if you missed it by 5 hours? I tried any way, and was told I had to leave me key with them and come back some 3.5 hours later. I can't do it, so I book another appointment, only available was two weeks later. Time for my appointment, I clear my schedule and expect the worst. True to Costco tire nature, I did get the worst. No text reminder like previous appointment. Arrived early hoping for better response now. Appointment was 5:15pm, I arrived 4:50pm. Was told it will be ready 7:30 PM. Wow 2.5 hours for a tire rotation, nitrogen, and a tire repair? When I come at 7:30PM, was told work is not finished, come back another hour. This time the employee was not polite at all. He told me that I will get call when it is ready, since I have not been called, he looks annoyed by my presence there to collect my car. I am back again around 8:00pm, I saw my car been worked on. I come back again around 8:30pm. This time the lady said, no car is ready, not keys on the desk. I walk around and saw my car is ready. So I go back to check again with her, this time she goes back and get my key. And no, I never got the call that my car is ready. This is my worst experience of any store, let alone Costco which I usually praised for their customer service. I will not by tire for Costco ever again. For other product, I will think twice now. I believe this is management issue, so this bad experience, I expect to spread to other Costco department as well. Buyer beware!!

Even though I have been to numerous Canadian Costco warehouses, I have never bought meat. The USA warehouses have the best meat counter of any store in this country, period. Not sure what is going on for you.

Maybe when you grow up a little bit you can come back and read this and have a giggle. Oh, and before you lose all of your friends: it is rude to decline a gift given graciously to you. If someone gives you a gift card to a place that you are not a fan of, politely accept it with a sincere thank you because it is the thought that counts, then, down the road, re-gift the card.

By the way: COSTCO IS For MEMBERS ONLY! Temporary id's are (this week blow your mind) TEMPORARY, and can only be issued to an individual a certain number of times, which is why they need an id to track it.

It wouldn't be fair to the paying members of none members were allowed to come in free as many times as they like with a temporary pass. By the way, it is always a good idea to have a valid id on you at all times for identification during an emergency, most adults know that.

Costco review: Worst customer services in Vancouver

I have been living in Vancouver for more than 20 years, but i have never like Costco. Of course, I will not apply for their membership card. Last year (2015 May), I got a Costco gift card from my friend, then I went to Costco for spending it. I only spent C$9.44. When I checked out, the cashier asked me for my membership card. I told her that I am not the member, then she said, "how you get in. I told her that I just showed my gift card to the doorman, then I got in". The cashier said, "you should ask for a temporary entry card". I said, "how can I know that I should ask for a temporary card for entering to Costco. Then she said, "you should go to the customer service counter for asking them to give you a temporary card first". Then I said, "I am already in and I am shopped already. Just checked out for me". Then she said, " why you don't have a membership card. I said, "I don't need because I don't shop in Costco a lot". But she was too much aggressive, keep on telling me that she got one even though she doesn't shop at Costco a lot as well. I said to her that "you got one (membership card), it doesn't mean that I have to get one. Then I paid my stuff by using my gift card then I went to the exit for requesting to see the manager. I told the lady manager that the lady cashier was too aggressive for forcing me to join the Costco member. And also, the cashier sounded to me that it was my fault because I didn't come in with a temporary entry card. Unfortunately, I still have C$20.56 in my Costco gift card, 2 days ago, (6 Mar 2016), I have to go back to Costco for spending it all. This time the doorman told me to go to the customer service counter for a temporary entry card. I went there, but the customer service person asked me for my ID card. I told her that I don't have it with me, then she said to me that she couldn't give me a temporary entry card. I said, " who will have their ID with then all the time. But she didn't care. Then I went to the exit for requesting to see the manager. The doorman told me that the manager was inside the customer service counter, then I returned to the customer service counter. He was a Philipino. I asked him that why I need to have a piece of ID. He said that "because this place is for membership only. I have no clue still that what is the relationship between a membership card with a temporary entry card. I told him that I know Costco is for membership only and asked him it is not necessary for repeating again and again. But he couldn't give a good answer. His answer was only " this place is for membership". It sounded to me that I should join the membership. I felt that these Costco staff were trying to sell more memberships. But I felt it was too much pressure from them. Then I got mad and he told me to get out of there. Now, I am thinking what kind of customer service was that. Might be he thought I was rude because I was angry. but no matter what, customer is customer, they should have patience for explaining their policy. They should not tell the customer to get out. They have to learn more about customer services and words. And the Costco company, when you are thinking your policy, you have to think that is it reasonable to customer. Do you have to make it so serious for just a piece of temporary entry card. What is the reason that you need an ID for a temporary card when a customer walked in with their gift card. That is not a good way for trying to make a customer to be a membership. In this 20 years, I am not your member, in future, I will not because I don't like your policy.

Crazy idea but did it ever occur to you to go and talk to the people at your local membership desk. I'm sure whatever the problem is, it's an easy fix. Why does everyone always jump to the worst about a company instead of giving them the chance to fix things?

King George Surrey BC is the absolute worst pharmacy you can hope for they run out of mess every time and still can not have it ready if the Rx was dropped off five days before and never ready when they say it will be. After taking your life in your hands trying to find a parking space in their parking lot then waiting in line for your diabetic meds while unattended children stomp on your diabetic feet then a snot rag for customer service says well we're busy and doesn't listen to you at all it is time to shop somewhere else. They don't even take the time to go over the meds with you they quickly put it in a bag and star it closed.
