This is the second year in a row that I received a costco cash card that's going to cost me $100 in aggravation. Once again, I can't get the card activated because the last four digits of my phone number don't match the card.
I tried my current phone number, my old phone number, my cell number, my work number and my 80 year old fathers phone number - of course my 80+ year old father insists he gave them the correct phone number but Costco disagrees. Last year it took 5 phone calls and three weeks to get it activated. Anyone else think this is just a scam to keep money on Costco's part?
I would never, ever give this to someone as a gift. This is a horrible system.
