Costco Cancelled THREE Orders

My son ordered a laptop for me for Christmas to be shipped to me while visiting my daughter in Utah. Costco cancelled order. We assumed it was a fluke and he placed the order again. Once again it was cancelled. My son contacted Costco customer service and they told him that the orders were cancelled because "they could not verify that I resided at that address." Okay, so he places the order (again) and requests that it be sent to my daughter and, again, it was cancelled. At this rate, it will be a Mother's Day gift. How can such a well established company continue to make the same mistakes!?

Costco in Aurora, Colorado - Great company

I've dealt with Costco for over 15 years. I've returned items, I've brought back items spoiled. Never has a customer service worker being rude. I've always been helped in a satisfactory and pleasant manner. I really like Costco and would recommend them to everyone.

Have you ever heard of the Costco's "Spirit of Returns?" The "Spirit of Returns" means that you will NOT be able to return products you bought from Costco, if Costco stores do not want to take them back. It is something extra beside of the Costco's "Return Policy.".

"Not in the spirit of our return policy" is probably what you are referring to and it's a nice way for them to say your return is ridiculous! Their return policy is based on your satisfaction, WITHIN REASON.

Some people think it is a lifetime return policy, which it is not. Fyi

I agree, staff are lazy and Costco treats all customers like thief's. Total nonsense to wait to leave the store after you paid for all your items. Also harassing a customer over a few grapefruits is ridiculous.

I check with employee I had to run and my daughter was in line by time my daughter to check employee switch and then told my daughter has to be person on the card.i had just told the 1 employee and he said fine. I run a business and went back talk to a so call manager and he was no help. I will be returning to sams club I thought so stupid I spend close to $800 a month on stuff for the business. but Costco I guess don't need the business.

It clearly states in the terms and conditions(in the paperwork you signed when you became a member), you must present your card when entering. If you don't like the rules then don't shop there.....

Costco in USA has NEVER accepted master card. They have accepted Vida only for 3 years and previously to that is was AmEx only for over a decade..... so what exactly are you coming from with this??
