The tv just shuts off for no apparent reason. Called the concierge service and patiently went thru all the steps(turned off and on several times) to no avail, the tech tried to tell me to send an email to them but he could not be understood so i ask that he send me an email with the correct info which i have not received yet. So as far as i am concerned Costcos extedned warranty using the citi visa card is worthless. Am really disappointed in costco.

Costco 'avoiding' customer warranty

Details
Don't buy electronics. If they go bad during the warranty period, Costco will put you off for more than 30 days in hopes you will buy a replacement. Costco gave us a song and dance for over a month regarding repair or replacement. They did neither! Eventually my hubby and I decided to purchase a replacement TV, albeit, we did not give Costco the money, instead we went to a competitor to buy. It really ticks me off. We have been members for many years, spend a ton at their store and this is the ONLY time we ever asked for refund, replacement or repair of an item. We still have not heard back after our third phone conversation.
