Don't give gifts from Costco. Although all I wanted was to exchange the same inexpensive polo type shirt (current Costco Kirkland brand merchandise) for another size, Costco would not allow it unless I contact the member and obtain their member number. Why would anyone want to pay $55 membership fee to a store that is that extremely inflexible?

So members, don't give gifts from Costco!!!!!! It will be more of a headache for one or both of you.

Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't! Don't!

Monetary Loss: $15.

Of course u need the membership number from the member who gifted this inexpensive shirt to you since u don't have the receipt then they can look it up in the system to check the price member paid and give u a refund so u can repurchase the size u want.

Only members can shop there. The product bought is stored under the member's number on their card.

It's member's only.

You are not a member. You do not have an account.

Because of this, you cannot get money from them or items from them.

How is this complicated to you?
