I bought an office chair from Costco. You lift a lever on the right side and a gas cylinder allows the chair to go up and down to suit your desired height.
The chair will collapse without warning and I jarred my back. Really hurt. I fixed it by cutting off a 2" PVC pipe and sliding it over the gas cylinder so the chair will not collapse on me. Costco sells dangerous cheap so they can sell for less.
Not safe. I also bought a step ladder from Costco (Rubbermaid) and the top step broke (split) from the weight on only 125 pounds when it was rated for 225 pounds. It only cost 19.95 so it's not even worth taking back to the store, not to mention that I no longer have the receipt.
Cheap stuff is dangerous.
Reason of review: Bad quality.
Monetary Loss: $300.
Preferred solution: Quit selling cheap stuff just to unload it. And once you dump the cheap stuff on the public, you discontinue it..
Costco Pros: Food items offered.
