Costco always had the best eggs at the best price. That was a main reason I shopped Costco on a consistent basis.

They were 2 18 count cartons strapped together. Always extra large maybe a jumbo class of eggs. Now they switched to a new supplier. 1 24 count pack called size large but vary in size from medium (small) to large.

A 2 dozen pack for 3.68. Large eggs at Cub Foods are 1.50 per dozen. And they're all the same size.

Not a good move on Costco's part. Mistakes like this will hurt them in the end.

Reason of review: quality loss.

Monetary Loss: $1.

Preferred solution: You will lose business if this isn't fixed. I see lots of people purchasing your eggs. They won't be happy with your new supplier either..

Costco Pros: Your meat dept is good, Great price, Food items offered, Price.

Costco Cons: Food vendor.

I called the local Minnesota Costco about this same thing and emailed corporate. The price of eggs is one of the main draws for me to shop there. Call that and gasoline a loss leader, but it got me into the store.
