Ordered earrings on-line for wife's birthday with delivery of two business days. After order placed finally received email of order status the next day with delivery now 4 days which was after birthday.

Called to cancel order and after 38 minutes on hold told I could pick up earrings at store 150 miles away. Finally repurchased another set at a store 50 miles away with the promise my original order would be cancelled and a credit issued to my credit card.

Today I see UPS has stopped delivery and returned earrings to sender but did not receive credit. Attempted to contact customer service but after 66 minutes on hold hung up.

Product or Service Mentioned: Costco Customer Care.

Reason of review: Order processing issue.

Monetary Loss: $1000.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Costco Cons: Delivery, Cannot process simple online order.

Finally received a credit to my Visa. Still, stick to Amazon for on-line purchases and Costco for in-store buying.

And yes, the earrings were a $1000 . Costco sells diamonds on-line and in-store that cost much more than this.
