I go to this store every 2 weeks or maybe less, whenever it's necessary. I have been their client for more than 2 years and I could say I haven't experienced any problems at the moment. I just go and buy whatever we need at home.

Had the exact situation with Bill Me Later and Costco last month, made a $786.00 purchase with Costco, used Bill Me Later to have the six month no interest option, received my monthly statement with the whole amount due that month or face interest. I called BML and was told I was out of luck, pay the balance or pay interest.

Paid it in full and cancelled my BML account. Deceptive ripoff company.

Costco Hearing Aid provider lacked experience

I went to Costco Hearing Aid Center in Eugene, Oregon, to obtain a replacement for an aid that had been lost. When they took the impression for the in-canal portion of the device, the wax stuck in my ear. They acted as if this had never happened in their experience. The provider called in one of the Costco managers and they discussed sending me to the hospital ER for removal. I asked if Costco would pay and the manager said she didn't know. She provided an employee to drive me to the hospital and the ER doctor plucked the wax out easily. When I returned to Costco, the manager claimed she did not have the number of Costco's insurance. Later on, I contacted the manager of the Eugene branch and he was quite cavalier about the whole thing. I have since learned that this is a common occurrence, but I was so frightened by the experience that I never returned to pick up the hearing aid. I never wanted those people to touch my ears again and I had requested that Costco would pay for my going to a registered h.a. provider whom I trusted to adjust the new hearing aid, but the manager would not agree to that. Caveat emptor!

The days of silicone putty molds may be numbered. Google "3d ear scanner" to see videos of the "mold" being taken virtually, without any risk of "blow-by" ...

If you reread my posting, you will notice that I mention that I subsequently learned that blow-by is a "common occurrence." I guess I failed to make my point -that I believe prospective hearing aid buyers should be forewarned by the dispenser that blow-by might happen and be reassured that Costco will send them to the hospital if the wax gets stuck in their ear AND will pick up the tab.

I just bought new aids last August at Costco in Medford and was pleased by the professional demeanor of the dispenser as well as by the lower price than the first aids.

Not likely Liz. That is a very unusual occurrence but can happen to the best of dispensers/audiology professionals.

It is called a "blow by" in industry terms and is NEVER an intended results.

It is unfortunate that it happened to you, but many people including my grandmother use and are appreciative of Costco HAC's services, prices, and courteous staff. But hey, people are always welcome to go somewhere else and pay twice as much for hearing aids, and for services that are free at Costco.

Costco review in Las Vegas, Nevada: La Raza invaded Cotsco!!!!

My 81 year old mother has been a loyal Costco customer for years. She always bragged about the superior customer service at the Marks location in Henderson NV. We were treated so rudely by the predominately Latino employees. I could not beleive the ignorant aggressive behavior we suffered. My mother moved too slowly to pay for her food and was told to "move faster there were other custumers behind her". We were embarrased at the door when one of the Latino employees yelled at her to show her receipt which she had in her hand. The staff should represent the customer base. Where is the diversity? I guess the Latino staff didn't feel they had to treat us with the superior standard of customer service my mother bragged about at the Henderson -Marks location. We did complain to a manager however I am not confident anything will be done. Shame on you Costco!
