They are very rude in general at the Service desk especially when you are trying to downgrade back to regular Costco card. I told the guy at the counter I wanted to downgrade back to a regular business membership and he was rude! I wish I could remember his name ( older guy) . Even after politely telling him I did NOT want to keep thr upgraded one, he basically called me ***. I was so mad I almost cancelled the mebership altogether. Then on top of that he made a mistake refunding me the balance back on the upgrded membership, and he didn't even apologize!!!! Not impressed and quite upset!! I now go out of my way to go to another Costco in Guelph even thpugh it takes me much longer to get there!! And anyhow the customers who shop At Brampton location tend to clog up the parking lot and store just standing around, so I am better off !!!

Costco in Brampton, Ontario - Rude lady at the demo station.

I have been a Costco member for a very long time and this is the first time that I had the most humiliating experience. On June 4th 2016 around 12.30 pm, I visited the Blendtech demo Station at Costco, 100 Biscayne Crescent, Brampton, ON L6W 4S1. As I had missed the beginning of the demo, I asked the lady who was pouring out a smoothie, if she would tell me what ingredients she had used. She very rudely replied in front of many people (this is a Saturday afternoon)that her job was not to tell what is the smoothie but to give a demo on the mixer. when I asked, what if someone is allergic to something . She just bluntly pointed at a list in front of her. I understand she is not there to talk about the ingredients but she could have politely told me to read the list instead of being so rude in front of all the people. I had no choice but to walk away even though I wanted to know more about the product. I don't expect this kind of behavior from any staff in the customer service. How does she expect me to buy that product after the way she spoke or maybe she does not care as she is not there to sell....Please be careful who you employ as Costco holds a high esteem in the market.
