Tire Rotation
Appointment for my truck to rotate my tires at the recommended mileage.
Mentioned to the sales person to please have the technician adjust tire pressures to the manufacturers specifications of 60 psi for the front tires, and 80 psi for the rear. After driving home 3 miles into the trip, my low tire pressure monitoring system lit up showing roughly 57+61 psi in the tear tires 79+81 psi for the front.
Opposites of what I asked for specifically.
10 miles to home and I physically checked with my gauge each tire. All were as noted above. Called Costco and complained that this happens every time I go there with my truck.
This morning had to correct each tire as outlined my the manufacturer. Tried looking up complaints through Costco but there doesnt seem to be a link for that.
Consumer beware at this Flemington NJ store.
Preferred solution: Someone with authority call me and tell me this will be addressed.

Horrible training and customer service
Costco detailed complaint
On 6/11/23 Sunday, My husband, myself and my PSD (psychiatric /
medical) service dog tried to enter into stafford costco wholesale
store. We are current existing members who have visited their many
times before with my medical & psychiatric service dog.
We were never
denied access to enter the building until this day. My dog was fully
identified as a service dog with a "service dog" vest, wearing a blue
id tag, & a card stating our rights and the legal questions to ask.
The door greeter- BK had asked those two questions which we
responded to- yes he is a psychiatric & medical service dog. Also to
answer the 2nd question- We stated that our dog Pringle's service is
to assist as a psychiatric service dog that preforms tasks that
accompany with ptsd/panic attacks. Not only that, but he also assist
medically with migraine attacks.
BK then proceeded to harass /
interrogate us with further and began asking more deeper intense
questions that were breaking the law. Bobby stated that those
questions do not meet the requirements to enter the building. BK
then said that my dog was not a real service dog and doesn't qualify
as a service dog for PTSD. He demanded me to ask my dog to preform
those psychiatric and medical tasks in front of him.
He also demanded
proof of medical documentation /certification / & his paperwork. BK
also asked to have proof of certification for service. I stated that
he was violating all of rights including; my HIPPA rights, ADA laws,
and invasion of privacy. This employee (door greeter) BK proceeded
to harass myself & my husband in front of many customers entering /
exiting the building.
Unfortunately, there was no other employees in
the area to help deescalate the situation. I stated that we will enter
to the store and go cancel our membership. He postured himself to use
his body to block us from walking into the building. He stated due to
the fact that i am not listening to his demands that he will contact a
manager.
So we waited for the manager (YR) to come who also
had no training & stated we aren't aloud to enter the building. After
this interaction we decided to walk to customer service & request to
cancel our membership (which BK denied us to do) and asked for the
highest manager of the building. At this time was Assistant night
shift manager- LG. The employees from the front desk were
well aware of us previously from our many shopping visits.
I told them
what happened and they agreed that BK and the temporary fill in
manager YR were completely wrong. LG was called to desk
and she explained that he was wrong & violated all rights. She stated
that BK is actually not trained as a door greeter that he was only
up there due to a recent on the job injury. He doesn't normally work
as a greeter so she said he needs to be spoken to & also to get
trained.
She allowed us to have access to the store. While I continued
to shop the store- I noticed that there was another smaller dog who
had a service dog vest and they were never denied access. This made me
feel targeted, discriminated & pre-judged. That evening, I contacted
costco corporate and spoke with the intake customer service
represenative- Josie who took my complaint and then filed it with that
specific store.
The complaint went to the assistant general manager
EL. The next day, he called to ask me what happened and to give
him the best of my knowledge a full description of the incident. I
thoroughly went over the incident as well as my husband. I stated that
employee not only violated all my rights but also verbally accused me
of faking a service dog and embarrassing me in front of the entire
front door lobby area.
He was listening and typing up documentation of
our call. He then said that he would speak to the general manager of
the store- GM, When I
discussed the rights and laws of the service dogs, the assistant GM (EL)
had no idea of the capacity to what a service dog was. He told me he
would let the GM know of the situation and they would take care of it.
It took a few days later to get back to me which was today 6/16
friday. When I spoke to him he stated that they will provide a gift
card for the situation.
He then proceeded to tell me that they pulled
the video tapes, interviewed other coworkers who were around, &
listened to the audio tapes. Eric became extremely defensive and
refused to take any accountability for violating all of my rights.
EL- stated we disagree on incident & that the situation did not happen as described and
that his employee was not in the wrong. He stated his questions were appropriate and meant company policies & procedures. He refused to acknowledge the
fact that their customer service was ABSOLUTELY A DISGRACE and that
they broke any laws.
He told me that enjoy my gift card and hung up on
me. This leaves to me further escalate my complaint against not only
costco for the severe lack of training on service dogs but also their
employees & upper management. Further more, this situation will have
to be escalated to regional & national corporate for the
discrimination and breaking all of my legal rights.
BK& EL were
not only rude, heartless and in denial - they violated / discriminated
against a customer with ADA accommodations. This is SERIOUS concern
for not only myself but future customers going into that store
specifically and costco.
Preferred solution: Apology, accountability, thorough training on employees and better management as well as customer service

Horrible experience at the Hillsboro, OR location
Went to Costco to pick up a few extra things for Christmas. My daughter was with me and she grabbed a couple of things for her dog.
I went to self checkout at first - but remembered I was purchasing gift cards and so I moved to a regular register.
Once at the front of the line - I told the checker I needed 2 separate transactions.
My daughter's stuff was first up on the belt - so I handed the checker my Costco card and my daughter pulled her debit card out of her wallet. The checker said - to my daughter - is that your card - you have to have your own Costco card if you are going to buy something, then called over here supervisor who told me - you can buy it for her on your card - and then she can just Venmo you. WHAT?!
THEN - they told me I should have had her debit card in my hand and just paid for and there would have been no issues it but because they saw it was hers they could not let me buy it. So be deceitful and lie.
Gotcha.
I was not happy - but paid for it all on my card (would have just walked out if I did not need the stuff I had and did not have the time or patience to go anywhere else).
To top off the experience - when I was done the checker started talking to the person behind me about how unreasonable I was! Talking about customers to other customers! Yikes!
My ADULT daughter lives with us (graduated from college and moved back home because the economy is so bad - in the hopes she can save enough money to one day afford a house) -
Come on Costco. A membership should be valid for all people living at the same address.
Would make NO SENSE for my daughter to get her own membership while living with us. Her address on her license is the same as mine - that should be good enough,
We spend thousands of dollars at Costco. (I have a business as well as person expenses).
I really am going to have to think about spending the amount of money that I do there - with the lack of customer care.
Won't be going back to Hillsboro FOR SURE ...we will see about the other locations but Costco really needs to re-evaluate their policies.
Insanity . Ina time when everyone is struggling - people living in the same household should be able to share a membership.
Preferred solution: Not a solution - want them to revisit the membership policy. For members of the same household

Costco Complaint Department,
Please consider this letter as an official complaint on how a Home Install / Property Damage Claim was (or I should say was not) handled. The Property Damage Complaint number is 231105-****04.
We were fortunate enough to have an organization (Twilight Wish) gift us new appliances.
They purchased said appliances from Costco. The order number is 106614****.
On Friday November 3rd, two gentlemen showed up to INSTALL our new appliances. I stress INSTALL because the Twilight Wish Foundation had paid extra to have ALL the appliances installed and to make sure they were working properly.
The Costco delivery / installer guys installed the washer and dryer first. I pretty much stayed out of their hair and let him do his job.
After about 30 minutes, one of the Costco delivery / installers tells me that he had broken the metal part on the hot side hose off and that the female end was corroded on the spigot. I immediately turned the main water shut off, off but our laundry room was covered in water. He then informed me that he could not get the female end of the spigot and I would need to get a plumber. Then he tried to turn the faucet handle with his water pump pliers and snapped it off.
He then tried to turn the metal part that the faucet handle was in and it also broke off. He then informed me that I would need to get a plumber to come get the female end of the spigot off and fix the faucet handle. I called a local plumber who came over to look at the situation hopefully fix the washer / spigot problem. It took him 30 seconds to get the corroded female end of the spigot off.
He was only able to provide a temporary fix for now but at least we have water to the house.
Costco Home Install was contacted immediately and a Property Damage Claim ticket was issued. I received an e-mail from Brad and then a phone call (and text) from Brad on 11/9/23. Brad instructed me to take pictures of the damage (which I did) and send to him. He indicated that he needed to show the picture to his team and if there were any questions, he would get back to me.
He also indicated that he needed a written estimate to fix the damage, which I sent him (via text) on 11/17/23. During this time, I also received an e-mail from a Maria who reiterated that a Property Damage Claim ticket had been issued and I should be hearing from someone shortly.
Also, about the second week of November, I received a phone call from Tiletha, who I assume was from the corporate office (I had sent a detailed letter outlining November 3rd). She was aware that Brad and Maria were communicating with me but wanted to be kept in the loop to make sure that this issue got handled properly.
Shortly before Thanksgiving, I sent Brad a text to see what the status was on the Property Damage Claim. No answer.
I then sent Brad and Maria an e-mail asking for a status update. Again, no answer. After Thanksgiving, I again did the same thing. No answer.
I even called Brad and got his voicemail and left a message. No return call. I then called Tiletha (407-379-****). I got her voicemail and left a very detailed message of how I can not get anyone to respond to my phone calls, text message or e-mail messages.
But to date, Tiletha has not returned my phone call. In fact, I called Tiletha again on 12/1/23 at 3:12 pm (Central time) with no return call.
The estimate to fix the damage that the Costco employee caused is $275.00. I will not go into all the clean up we had to do in the laundry room (water) or the dirty feet prints on our carpet from the installers.
This is sad that a company treats customers this way. I expect this issue to be resolved immediately and a phone call or e-mail from someone outlining when it will be resolved along with an apology.

Verified ReviewerNew Kirkland toilet tissue
My husband and I have been and still are Costco members for the past 20 years. We wanted to provide customer feedback regarding the change in suppliers to your Kirkland toilet tissue.
This new version is much stiffer and scratchy compared to the previous supplier. The one which we've been buying for a few years was much softer to the body. So we are asking you all to consider going back to the previous supplier or find a different one. It is a bit alarming when a man makes comments about it.
You probably expect it from a woman but that's how uncomfortable the new product is compared to the previous one. We shop at both the Mobile, AL and New Orleans locations.
Thank you for listening to a loyal consumer.

Verified Reviewer |Delivery of Washer/Dryer not Received
I still haven't heard anything from Costco about whether I will receive the overdue washer/Dryer or not or even when. YET, COSTCO'S daily ad including this morning includes the product and color I ordered and can be sent by Sept 1 while I'm told mine is still in Korea...
Then I called Costco and was informed my item is still in Korea and won't leave until 8/23 and they had no idea when it would reach their warehouse or me. Why did they not contact me with this information.? The washer was removed a week ago and the room was cleared to make room for delivery.
I now have no washer or dryer. The picture below, taken from Costco's today's website, shows they are still selling the product as available for delivery.
Preferred solution: I expect updates or some kind of communication and expenses covered for now cleaning my clothes at a laundromat.

Verified Reviewer |My 422.58 shop cart was at the store but I was told it wasn't. Administration would even listen to me, cut me off and said 'we don't do that'. I told her on 12/29/23 it was sent and arrived 1/9/24.
I was not only told 'no way' but cut off like it's no where in the computer. I had written down the details so after trying to speak with a very rude female in administration, I got connected with Manny Tarno.
He let me finish what she didn't allow, took my phone number to check it out. He checked his Email and it was there. I picked up the Costco card and he was so professional and kind. That Kendall Costco store is awesome with incredible items and ALL are super nice.
I kept asking where the money went as I was told it had been delivered but I wasn't allowed to even say that to 'administration'.
I never suspected the integrity of this money not going to the person intended but did not deserve this treatment, a loyal member for years and I'm 82 years old. Thank you!

Bad Customer Service
I was returning 4 items. I made it clear to the employee to return the 4 items and that I did not have a lot of time.
They kept offering things that I didn't want despite me telling them to just return the 4 items. A supervisor then jumps out at me yelling multiple times. She tells me that I couldn't push her co-worker. I tell them to just return the 4 items but they return 3 instead while being incredibly disrespectful.
I look back at the receipt and run back to return the 4th item.
This was all so unnecessary. The service took a total of 20 minutes when it could've been 5 like usual.
The cashiers OP number was 828.Only the supervisor was disrespectful.
The location was Costco South center #6 Tukwila.
Preferred solution: Apology

He refused to acknowledge the fact that their customer service was ABSOLUTELY A DISGRACE and that they broke any laws." There is nothing in the ADA that requires Costco or any business to agree with you or state what you request here. You are expecting more than what the law requires because you are "A Pissed Consumer." Your escalation of this matter to corporate is fine. Just don't expect everyone else to sympathize with your anger level.
Deal with it on an emotionally reasonable level. And..."have a nicer day."
Is this an actual service animal that is protected by Federal laws, or is an emotional support animal. If it is an actual legit service animal, then what some delicate adult toddlers want or prefer does not even come in to play. But, if it's an emotional support animal, then they are afforded no protection under federal law.
Good for the greeter. I'm tired of dogs in a place that has FOOD.
Let someone else shop for you, if you can't shop without a dog. You're going to get PTSD in Costco?
You can purchase the vest, card and credentials on line just by paying the seller. That does not mean your dog is a legitimate service dog.
There should be state registration, regulations and requirements to be designated a service dog. Sadly many people take advantage of the laxity of enforcement and bring their “pets” with then wherever they go claiming the pet is a service animal.
You get so worked up over this, and apparently are able to press the issue through several stages of outrage, but need a dog to handle panic attacks? Maybe stay home next time with a cup of tea and let your husband do the shopping.
Lady get over it and move on. Unfortunately there are many people who throw that word around “Therapy Dog” when they’re just companion pets.
Does your dog really need to be with you when shopping? Your husband was with you.
I could see if you were home alone your dog would be needed. But in a busy store I have my doubts.
"Service Animal" acceptance has gotten out of control. IMHO, the only valid reason for a Service Animal is blindness.
And frankly, I'm not sure why the OP was surprised.
Costco is the company that started the masking BS, and refused to acknowledge/recognize medical exemptions. They simply instructed "Skippy-The-Door-Bouncer" to toss anyone who didn't comply. FYI, there are dozens of lawsuits Costco's lawyers are still litigating as a result of those HIPAA violations.
leave the dog home.
