I ordered furniture for my mom's new Memory Care room in August, 2021. It was scheduled to be delivered on Sept.

7, her move in day. Not only did none of her furniture arrive but they didn't even call me to tell me it wasn't coming. I finally called Costco and found that the bed hadn't even left the manufacturer yet! No one seemed to have thought to tell me this important item!

There was a mad scramble to find my mom a bed to sleep on that night. It made a stressful day that much more stressful. I complained about it but heard nothing. Not only the bed but the rest of the furniture didn't show up either nor was I informed.

Finally the furniture was delivered to my Mom's room on Saturday, September 25. I was out of town. I came back to discover that they had just left the furniture in boxes in my mom's small room. I unpacked it a few days later and discovered a dent in both the box and the front of the chest of drawers.

However, I don't want to return it and cause more problems for my mom and me. I would like them to return half the purchase price on both items that I finally received for all the time that I have spent on the phone with them previously when I could get a live person, and now the dent. I have pictures. However, not only can I not seem to find out how to talk to a live person but even the person on the live chat disconnected me.

I have always recommended Costco furniture to others but their customer service on this has been appalling. I would expect better from some cheaper place like Ikea.

I have spent so many hours on this now that I could have probably built it myself in less time. Costco, you will never be the same again in my eyes and I have been a customer for over 20 years, in fact we are corporate customers.Don't count on Costco

Preferred solution: Price reduction.

Costco Cons: Terrible customer service.
