Very disappointed in Costco that they would not honor the price they printed in their Spring Savings catalog, Exclusive Online-Only Offers for March 5-30, 2018 for the GoECOLife Platinum Series 20-Sheet Under-Desk Micro Cut Paper Shredder, item #565467, which was listed for $139.99 but online it was listed for $279.99.

Their customer service was less than impressive and they stated the wrong price had been printed and they would not honor it. As I spoke with the customer service representative and then their supervisor concerning this issue they maintained their stand and stated they had been informed by corporate the price would not be honored.

This was my first negative experience with Costco's customer service which is usually the bench mark for other companies in this area to work towards but they definitely dropped the ball in this case and they have lost a trusted member by their unreasonable stand on this issue.

Monetary Loss: $140.

Preferred solution: Price reduction.

I could care less if you are disappointed, a company should stand behind what it advertises and if they make a mistake they should honor that.
