My wife bought a phone without thinking from Wireless Advocated. Every cell phone company has a 1 month return - not wireless Advocates at Costco.

My wife came back after 10 days realizing she made a mistake by buying from them.

They told her to come back on Tuesday when the original salesman was back. That was 15 days and they said there we would have to pay through the nose to cancel now. This scam and many other scams are used by these crafty salesman.

The view you as marks! This happened in Puyallup and apparently everywhere else.

Monetary Loss: $2800.

Every carrier without fail has a 14 day return policy. You probably signed paperwork. Read what you sign

Read the above statement and it would explain everything.

The salesman did lie to you about the original salesman being required to be there. That is dishonest and shady.

It sounds like someone was lazy and didn't want to complete a return (salesman aren't paid for returns).

AT&T, T-Mobile, & Verizon all share a 14 day return policy. It USED to be 30 for everyone. Though the 14 day return window was clearly stated on the contract.

Honestly, you were absolutely misled, but you should own some of the blame.

Never sign without reading the fine print.

Now, if you weren't provided paperwork to sign... That's another ball of wax.
