I purchased a new 82inch series 8 model Samsung TV from Costco in December of 2017. The TV stopped working in August of 2018.
When I purchased the TV I also purchased an extended warranty through Costco for an additional 6 years.
As I write this review, it has been 5 weeks that my TV has not been working. I have spent 4 to 5 hours on the phone with both Samsung and Costco. Neither of the companies has done anything to correct my issue. Samsung has mailed me two parts both of which have not corrected the issue.
I have spent 1.5 hours on the phone with Samsung tech support to no avail. I have escalated this issue to management at Samsung, Costco.com and Costco Concierge Service, 5 weeks later all I have is a broken TV and empty promises.
Buyer beware of any Samsung products and anything purchased from Costco.
